Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing TripShipTask, a platform that connects users for rides, goods exchange, task assistance, and more. To ensure a fair and efficient process for all our users, we have established the following cancellation policy.
1. General Cancellation Guidelines
Users have the option to cancel a posted task or service request on TripShipTask. However, to avoid cancellation fees, users must adhere to the following guidelines:
2. Cancellation Timing
Users can cancel a post without incurring any cancellation fees if the cancellation occurs before half of the time remaining until the scheduled commencement time of the task or service.
If a cancellation occurs after 50% of the time from the booking time to the commencement time has elapsed, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total agreed-upon amount will be deducted.
A 75% penalty will apply if the cancellation occurs after 75% of the time from the booking time to the commencement time has elapsed.
If a cancellation occurs after 75% of the time has passed, no refund will be issued, and a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
3. Cancellation Fee Deduction
Cancellation fees will be deducted from the payment made by the user who initiated the cancellation. The deducted amount will be retained by TripShipTask as a cancellation fee, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the affected party, if applicable.
4. Initiating a Cancellation
To cancel a posted task or service request, users can follow these steps:
Navigate to the "My Tasks" or "My Services" or "My Ships" or "My Trips" section within the app.
Locate the relevant task or service request to be canceled.
Select the cancellation option and follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.
5. Exceptions
In the case of extenuating circumstances, TripShipTask reserves the right to review and potentially waive cancellation fees. Users must provide clear documentation or evidence supporting their request for an exception.
